Dear Customer,
We are very excited to tell you about some of our new arrivals! But
first, we want to update you on some things from last month. We know you
loved the new Vaseline Opalescent Snowflake Pattern and the Fern & Daisy
pieces we had. Did you know the original name for the Snowflake Pattern was
Christmas Snowflake by the Hobbs Glass Company? Hobbs was an old glass
house that existed in the late 1800's in Wheeling, West Virginia, which was
known for Blown Opalescent Glass pieces. Later, Fenton made it for the L.G.
Wright Glass Company. So far, we have two shapes, and there are other
shapes in the works. In the Fern & Daisy Pattern we cannot believe how
many customers re-ordered the Salt & Pepper Shakers and Breakfast Sets after
they received them. The results have been overwhelming! Now, to add to
this Vaseline Opalescent Victorian Line, we just received the large Fern &
Daisy Oil Lamp, along with a limited quantity of Drapery Pattern Pickle
Castor Sets. This Drapery Pattern is extremely rare in old pieces. They
are very hard to find.
We also received a new line of Vaseline Opalescent Carnival that we
will call "Pyramid and Star," so far we have a creamer, sugar & butter.
Other pieces are expected. The opalescence looks like pearls when it is
irridized.
Another line that has taken off is our new line of Scottie Dogs. We
have been firing our kiln on a daily basis just to keep up. You will see,
we already expanded this line.
How many of you remember the Daisy Pattern Butter Churns. We had 160
sets come in and sold 140 sets already. We have approx. 18 pieces of each
Medium and Large Butter Churns available. We also received 20 sets of the
larger butter churns to sell with more expected in two months. If
interested, be sure to call right away. They are sure to sell out.
Anyone who sells egg plates, be sure to checkout the Moon & Star Egg
Plates in Pink & Pink Carnival. We only received 125 of each along with a
Pink Moon & Star Candy Dish.
The last item we want to mention is a piece of stoneware that we
received. It is a Stoneware Pumpkin Lantern. It was one of our best retail
items at our Fort Robinson Outlet in the Fall of last year. Let me tell
you, the picture doesn't do it justice. This is a terrific item if you are
doing any kind of Fall Festival.
So until next time, we look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks
