The votes are in and counted.  We are very excited to announce the new name of the color we called Pumpkin and the winner of our contest.
The color will be called CANDY CORN_ submitted to us by Sally Hesseltine from Iowa City, IA.  Congratulations! ! !
We will use this new name when we refer to this color.  We would also like to thank all of you who participated in submitting your colors and for those who took time to vote on them.                                                                                                                  Thank You

First of all, we would like to tell you all that we did not forget to send you an April Newsletter.  We have been a little busier and we could not get it out.

      Now, lets begin our special for May with some new and exciting items!  Remember last month, the new Powder Blue Color, we called Bonnie Blue?  Well, we received several new items in this color.  How many of you heard of the Westmoreland Chicken on Egg Pile.  This originated back in the 1800’s from Atterbury.  This is a Covered Box.  The bottom looks like a nest and the top is a mound of Eggs with a Chick emerging from the top egg.  This is a well sought after piece by Westmoreland Collectors.  The detail on this piece is fantastic!  We had these made in Bonnie Blue, and only 180 pieces were made.

      Next we want to let you know the Single Glass Revolvers that were available in Bonnie Blue, are already sold out.  We only have 24 doubles available.  There were only 90 Single Revolvers and 90 Doubles made that was it!

      Now for some really big news. The third Bulldog in our Limited Edition Series has been made.  It is Bonnie Blue Irridized.  Wait until you see this color Irridized.  It really looks terrific!  For those of you who wanted the bulldogs that are not Irridized we have them in plain Bonnie Blue.

     Black Amethyst Carnival was in the furnace, so we ordered two new pieces.  They are the Chicken on the Two-Handled Basket, which is an Original Westmoreland mould, and an Imperial Glass Sign, which is an Original Imperial Glass mould.  Both of these pieces are limited and sure to sell out.  Several Cherry & Cable pieces are back in stock in Amethyst Carnival along with the Rose & Bow Slipper.  You will find them inside. 

     There is a lot of new Fenton in the works.  Some pieces are available, some pieces we are taking orders for, and some pieces are already sold out.    If anyone is looking for an Extremely Rare Piece of Fenton, this piece is definitely it!  We asked Fenton to make for us a Chicken Egg Plate in Chameleon Green.  The quantities will be between 65 and 120 pieces. Do you know how many Fenton Collectors and Chicken Collectors there are out there?  Thousands!   All we can say is get your orders in fast. This egg plate will be a Rosso Exclusive.  We have Fenton making us one hundred sets of four Mother of Pearl Handpainted matching Cats.  You know we are already sold out.  We did not even get them and they are gone.

     Many of you will look at this special and you will see a few things that are marked sold out.  You’re going to say that you did not get a chance to order it.  Well, as we listen to our customers, we follow the internet, and the collectible glass market and have decided to make some changes.  When we are going to have things made, we are looking to get them made in Very Limited Quantities.  We will sell them out and move onto something else.  This way the market does not become flooded and the Handmade Glass Industry will once again be exciting.  Give us a few months and you are going to see some very Rare Pieces being produced.  We suggest that you keep up with our website or call on a weekly basis to see what is new. I am sure many of these pieces won’t even hit our newsletter.  We are very excited and look forward to hearing from you in the future.
