Rosso Glass

Dear Customers, Rosso Glass is very proud to offer two new items for sale. Both of these items were made using "Original Westmoreland Glass Company Moulds" that dates back to the turn of the century, and the 1920's. It's almost like buying a piece of history! The first item is a Toy Novelty Item, which is known as the Solid Glass Revolver. That alone tells you how old this piece really is. Just think how big the glass industry was back then, a Toy Novelty Revolver made of glass. Not plastic but Glass! If you were a kid and had one of these you were probably the coolest kid on the block. On the trigger guard, you will find written "Patented Applied For." When these guns are made, they are made in a way that is known in the glass industry as two up, which simply means they are made two at the same time from the same mould. This is a mould that we purchased from Summit Art Glass. You may recall, we sold them two ways, singles or doubles. That is the way we will sell them once again. The doubles are very collectible! It's just a really neat item to have! Any gun collector would be glad to have one of these! You will find them on page 2. |

The second item we received is an
item that dates back to the turn of the century. It is an item many of
you didn't even know existed. It's a
Great
Kitchenware Collectible known a s a
Keystone Egg & Cream Beater. The name alone will tell you
how old this mould is. The only place you may find one of these is in
your kitchenware books. They come in two sizes. The one we have
happens to be the Large 3-Cup Size. They were probably only made in
crystal. Can you imagine, this mould probably sat on a shelf over a
100 years without being used!. When we had this first color made, the
mould didn't need any kind of mould work whatsoever. This is
unbelievable! There is a metal lid and beaters that we are trying to
have made, which may take a few months. For now thought, we are selling the
bottoms only. Like we said, "When you buy this piece you are buying a
piece of History!" Thanks |
